BOTTOM'S UP!

Last night my hubby wanted to test out Skype on our computers to make sure we both knew how to use it. So he was down stairs on his lap top, me up stairs in our bedroom on mine.

We had a little trouble at first, I could see him, but no sound. He couldn't see or hear me. With a little help from my son we were up and running. My hubby was all excited because now we could see each other and visit when he is out of town.

I was already to do my elliptical machine for my workout, when he decided he wanted to figure out Skype. So I did the computer thing first, when I thought we had finished I pushed the X button and went on over to the elliptical and bent over to plug it in to get started. While I was in the "Bottom's Up" position I could hear this laughing coming from my lap top! Turns out hubby’s video was still on and he could see everything I was doing, even though I had only my screen saver on, thinking I had turned it off. I was MORTIFIED!!!!!!!! Oh My Gosh!! I knew the position I was in from that silly laughing I was hearing!

But  who wouldn't laugh if this filled the entire screen of your computer!!!!!! Due to this HUGE embarrassment I did 61 minutes, yes 61 MINUTES on the eliptacal  to try and help this fat butt. Then I continued on with floor exercise.

So the moral of the story  is "be careful, because you never know who is watching you". Glad I wasn't picking my nose, or scratching my rear.

  1. Picking your nose is for when you're driving, silly! I could use an elliptical machine.

  7. That's so funny!

Have you ever seen the movie: It's Complicated - with Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, and Meryl Streep? THE BEST Skype "incident" scene EVER!! Me and my husband laughed so hard at that scene, I swear. That movie was so FUNNY but that scene really make it. You have to rent that, if you haven't seen it yet.

Saw you on the Monday blog hop -- I'm a new follower :)

  8. Call me cautious but I have a piece of black tape over my webcam just in case! Hilarious story and a very good cartoon to go with it.
Just dropped by to say hello and yes, please do share the video on my post...it's so funny it's worth making as many people laugh as possible. Don't forget to practise your own interpretative dance and then you can try it out on Skype!
I'm off line now unitl Sunday. Hopefully I'll return with some good blog material.
Have fun and watch out for voyeurs!

  9. Katrina, I had so forgotten about that scene! Oh my, that is one of my favorite shows, I can't believe I forgot about that. Darn, should have included that with the post.
Carol, you are always jet setting some where, you sure have a fun life. And I think I should cover my cam. Hopefully I won't be using choice words, or making odd sounds that someone might hear. Oh, just to be ourselves again, in that private place we call our bedrooms.

  11. This is great! You al sound like hubby and I. He's still a bit green when it comes to the puter, not ready for skype yet. The dual computing sounds like us and the video shot, that had to be funny! I couldn't be mortified after all these years, I'd be laughing right along with him I'm sure.
